An Act to amend and reenact §§ 68-126, 68-150, 68-190 and 68-213 of the
Code of Virginia, relating to aid paid to certain persons. CH 214]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: oa.
1. That §§ 63-126, 63-150, 63-190 and 63-218 of the Code of Virginia
be amended and reenacted as follows: .
§ 63-126. Assistance shall be paid to or on behalf of the applicant
monthly, or at such other time or times as the rules and regulations o
the State Board may provide, by the treasurer or other disbursing officer
of the county or city, upon order of the local board of such county or city,
from funds appropriated or made available for such purpose by the board
of supervisors, council or other governing body of such county or city. _
§ 63-150. Aid to or on behalf of dependent children shall be paid
monthly, or at such other time or times as the rules and regulations of
the State Board may provide, to the person having custody of the de-
pendent child by the treasurer or other disbursing officer of the county
or city, upon order of the local board of such county or city, from funds
appropriated or made available for such purpose by the board of super-
visors, council or other governing body of such county or city. .
§ 63-190. Aid to the blind shall be paid to or on behalf of the appli-
cant monthly, or at such other time or times as the rules and regulations
of the Commission may provide, by the treasurer or other disbursing
officer of the county or city upon order of the local board of such county
or city from funds appropriated or made available for such purpose by
the io of supervisors, council or other governing body of such county
or city.
§ 63-213. General relief shall be paid to or on behalf of the appli-
cant monthly, or at such other time or times as the rules and regulations
of the State Board may provide, by the treasurer or other disbursing
officer of the county or city, or upon order of the local board of such
county or city, from funds appropriated or made available for such pur-
pose by the board of supervisors, council or other governing body of such
county or city.
