CHAPTER 54

AN ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section
numbered 4-112.1, to prohibit certain actions involving the purchase
and delivery of alcoholic beverages by certain persons and to pro-
vide penalties for violation. [H 98]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 4-112.1 as follows:

§ 4-112.1. If any person under the aye of eighteen years shall falsely
represent his age to be eighteen years or older for the purpose of purchas-
ing or attempting to purchase any beverages as defined in this chapter,
or if any person shall purchase any such beverage for another person,
and at the time of such purchase know or have reason to believe that the
person for whom such beverage was purchased was a person less than
eighteen years of age, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
