An Act to amend and reenact § 1, as amended, of Chapter 202 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1950, approved March 14, 1950, relating to the
season in which squirrels may be lawfully taken in certain counties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1, as amended, of Chapter 202 of the Acts of Assembly of
1950, approved March 14, 1950, be amended and re-enacted as follows:
§ 1. It shall be lawful to hunt, capture, take and kill squirrels in the
* county of Giles during the period beginning September fifteen of each
year and extending through October fifteen and then beginning on the
third Monday in November and extending through January one following;
and in the counties of Patrick, Floyd, * Henry * and Pittsylvania during
the period beginning September first of each year and extending through
January twenty following; and in the counties of Franklin and Carroll
during the period beginning September fifteen and extending through
January twenty following. The right of certain persons to hunt squirrels
on their own lands shall not be affected hereby.
