CHAPTER 323
An Act to validate the establishment and organization of, and certain
acts done by, the Regional Redevelopment and Housing Authority
for Hampton and Warwick, Virginia. CH 554]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Notwithstanding any defect in the notice given for the estab-
lishment of said authority, the establishment and organization under the
provisions of Article 6 of Title 36 of the Code of Virginia, of the Regional
ousing Authority for Warwick and Elizabeth City Counties, Virginia
(now known as the Regional Redevelopment and Housing Authority for
Hampton and Warwick, Virginia), together with all proceedings, actions
and things heretofore undertaken, performed or done by it prior to Janu-
ary thirtieth, nineteen hundred fifty-six, which otherwise would he valid,
including without limitation, the exercise of its powers, duties and func-
tions within the territorial limits of the cities of Hampton and Warwick,
are hereby validated, ratified, confirmed and approved and declared legal
in all respects, and the said Regional Housing Authority is hereby author-
ized to exercise all of its powers, duties and functions as provided by law
within the territorial limits of the cities of Hampton and Warwick.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
