An Act to amend and reenact § 38.1-802 of the Code of Virginia, re-
lating to license required of agent.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 38.1-302 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 38.1-302. No person shall act in this State as an agent of an
insurance company licensed to transact insurance in this State without
first procuring a license from the Commission so to do. A separate license
shall be procured for each licensed company represented.

Any license in force on July 1, 1952, shall remain in force in ac-
cordance with and subject to the provisions of § 38.1-305. After July 1,
1952, the Commission may issue to the holders of such licenses new li-
erate amd such licensees to act as agents for the period specified
