CHAPTER 170

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
28-4.2, to provide for the jurisdiction of the Commission of Fisheries

in certain waters.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: - .
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
28-4.2 as follows: ae

§ 28-4.2. The Commission of Fisheries shall have jurisdiction and
authority over commercial fishing, except for fish protected by the inland
fish laws, in the waters of Nomini Creek in Westmoreland County below
a line across said creek located four hundred yards above Prospect Hill
Bridge. The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries shall have exclu-
sive jurisdiction and authority with respect to fishing in the remaining
waters of said creek.
