CHAPTER 110

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 19-92.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to batl commissioners for the city of Roanoke so as to allow such
commissioners in certain other cities. (H 174]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 19-92.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows: .

§ 19-92.1. The Hustings Court of the city of Roanoke, or the judge
thereof in vacation, and any court of record in the city of Waynesboro,
or the judge thereof in vacation, each may appoint one of the commission-
ers in chancery of the court bail commissioner for such city. Such bail
commissioner shall have the same powers and duties in respect to the
city of Roanoke and the city of Waynesboro as bail commissioners for
counties have in respect to their counties.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
