CHAPTER 98
An Act to authorize the Town of Kenbridge to sell certain real estate
therein.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Town of Kenbridge, by ordinance duly enacted by the
Council of the town, may close a portion or all of an alley located in Block
twenty-one, as shown on the official map of said town, fronting ten feet
on Fifth Avenue, extending back at right angles thereto between parallel
lines, a distance of one hundred and twenty feet. Where such alley serves
no public use and the abutting property owners thereto have consented
the closing, the Town of Kenbridge may convey all of its right, title and
interest in such property or any part thereof to E. G. Terrell and John A.
Caudle, trading as Southside Motor Company upon such terms and con-
ditions as the Council deems proper.
2. An emergecy exists and this act is in force from its passage.
