CHAPTER 84
An Act to authorize the county of Prince Edward to convey certain property
to the town of Farmville, Virginia, and to prescribe the terms and
conditions thereof. -

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The governing body of the county of Prince Edward is authorized to
sell and convey to the town of Farmville upon such terms and conditions
as it deems proper that certain tract or parcel of land containing less than
one acre which lies to the east of the property on which the county court-
house is located and which is separated from said larger tract by South
Street; said parcel lying and being on the east side of South Street and
fronting thereon approximately one hundred fifty-seven feet and from
said street running in an easterly direction between approximately parallel
lines the northernmost line of which is twenty-five feet, more or less, and
the southernmost line of which is one hundred sixteen feet, more or less,
to points in Gross’s Branch, and the eastern boundary thereof being one
hundred sixty-five feet, more or less, between the easternmost points of the
aforesaid approximately parallel lines.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
