CHAPTER 450

An Act to amend and reenact § 65-93 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to rehearing on award by the Commission under the provisions of the
Workmen’s Compensation Act.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

tn That § 65-93 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 65-93. If an application for review is made to the Commission
within seven days from the date of the award, the full Commission, if the
first hearing was not held before the full Commission, shall review the
evidence or, if deemed advisable, as soon as practicable, hear the parties
at issue, their representatives and witnesses and shall make an award *
which, together with a statement of the findings of fact, rulings of law and
other matters pertinent to the questions at issue, shall be filed with the
record of the proceedings and a copy of the award shall be immediately
sent to the parties at issue.
