CHAPTER 425

An Act to amend and reenact § 58-266 of the Code of Virginia imposing
fees on the issuance of certain licenses, so as to provide for the payment
thereof into the State treasury.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

a That § 58-266 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 58-266. For every license, other than a quarterly license, issued by
a commissioner of the revenue under this chapter, * there shall be charged
a fee of seventy-five cents. For every quarterly license issued by a com-
missioner of the revenue under this chapter, * there shall be charged a fee
of fifty cents. AJl such fees shall be paid by the person obtaining the license
and such license may be withheld until the fees are paid. All such fees so
paid on licenses the taxes on which are payable into the State treasury shall
be paid into the State treasury under the provisions of § 58-263.
