CHAPTER 394
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 23-50.8, to regulate parking on certain property of Medical Col-
lege of Virginia; providing penalties for violations.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
23-50.3 as follows:
§ 23-50.3. All parking of motor vehicles on the property owned by the
Medical College of Virginia is hereby prohibited; provided, however, the
board of visitors may, in its discretion, cause to be marked off certain por-
tions of the driveways and other property owned by the College to provide
parking facilities for officers and employees of and patients and visitors to
the College and hospital and to allocate spaces therein and operate the
same under such rules and regulations as it may prescribe.
Any person parking any vehicle contrary to the provisions of this sec-
tion, or contrary to any parking sign or “‘no parking” sign erected pursuant
to rules and regulations promulgated by the board, shall be subject to a fine
or not less than one dollar nor more than twenty-five dollars for each
offense.
