An Act to amend and reenact § 28-10.1 of the Code of Virginia, as to
when licenses terminate; proration.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 28-10.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 28-10.1. When licenses terminate; proration—(1) All licenses
issued by the Commission of Fisheries shall be on an annual basis and
shall expire on December thirty-one of the year in which issued.

(2) The Commission of Fisheries may, prior to January one, nine-
teen hundred fifty-four, prorate such licenses if it deems the same justi-
fied to avoid early termination or undue extension of such licenses.
