CHAPTER 92
An Act to amend and reenact § 2 of Chap 225 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1984, as amended, so as to make more definite the bounds of the
town of Independence.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 2 of Chap 225 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, as amended,
be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 2. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows, namely:
Beginning at * a rock 880 yards due north from the center of the court-
house of the county of Grayson; thence from the point due east 880 yards
to a point; thence on a line due south 1760 yards to a point; thence ona
line due west 1760 yards to a point; thence north 1760 yards to a point;
thence east 880 yards to the point of beginning; thus forming a square of
one mile on each boundary.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
