CHAPTER 631
An Act to appropriate certain sums of money in aid of certain Confederate
Memorial Associations and organizations of the United Daughters of
the Confederacy in Virginia, to be used in caring for Confederate cem-
eteries and graves of Confederate soldiers and sailors not otherwise
cared for in cemeteries, and in erecting and caring for markers and
monuments to such soldiers and sailors.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the sum of eleven thousand eight hundred fifty-five dollars, or
so much thereof as may be needed, is hereby appropriated out of any
money in the general fund of the State treasury, not otherwise appropri-
ated, for each year of the biennium ending June thirtieth, nineteen hun-
dred fifty-four, which amounts so appropriated annually shall be in lieu
of all other appropriations out of the State treasury for the same purposes,
and the Comptroller of the Commonwealth is instructed and empowered to
draw warrants upon the State Treasurer annually in favor of the treas-
urers of the following Confederate memorial associations and chapters of
the United Daughters of the Confederacy for the following sums of money
