CHAPTER 521

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
15-791.1, relating to plats of subdivisions so as to provide for the
filing of a copy thereof with the local tax assessor.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
15-791.1 as follows:

§ 15-791.1. Every person, firm or corporation who shall offer for
recordation a plat in the clerk’s office of the circuit court of a county,
which is required to be approved and recorded by Articles 1 through 5
of Chapter 23, Title 15 must within thirty days after recording the
SOTO plat file a copy thereof in the office of the local tax assessing
authority.
