An Act for the relief of T. C. McMullen.

Whereas, convicts, who were trustees at State Road Camp 31, in
Chapel, Virginia, in an attempt to escape took an automobile belonging to
T. C. McMullen, and
Whereas, in the attempted escape, the convicts wrecked and caused
serious damage to the automobile, and ;
Whereas, there is no other method by which T. C. McMullen may be
compensated for this wrongful act; now therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That there is appropriated from the general fund of the State treasury
one hundred ten dollars and eighteen cents and the Comptroller is directed
to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer in that amount payable to
T. C. McMullen, provided that contemporaneously with the delivery of the
warrant, T. C. McMullen shall execute and deliver a full and complete
release to the Commonwealth of Virginia for the damage to the automobile.
