CHAPTER 478

An Act to amend and reenact § 62-41 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to pollution of State waters.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 62-41 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 62-41. It shall be unlawful for any owner to cause pollution in
any State waters in a manner or degree which is contrary to any special
order adopted by the Board, which has become final under the provisions
of this chapter, or to discharge sewage, industrial waste or other waste in
violation of any condition contained in a certificate issued by the Board
or in excess of the waste covered by such certificate, or to fail or refuse
to furnish information, plans, specifications or other data reasonably
necessary and pertinent required by the Board under this chapter.
