CHAPTER 40

An Act to provide for the transfer of certain funds of the , county of
Chesterfield.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The governing body of the county of Chesterfield is authorized to
require the treasurer of the county to transfer on his books from the
utility fund to the general county fund such sum as has been transferred
from the latter fund to the former fund. The treasurer upon being
directed so to do shall make such transfer and thereupon the funds shall
constitute a portion of the county general fund.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
