CHAPTER 388
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated to W. L. Seymour, of South Boston,
Virginia, out of the general fund of the State treasury, the sum of fifteen
hundred and seventy-nine dollars and eighty-three cents, to be paid on
warrant of the Comptroller drawn on the State Treasurer, to reimburse
the said W. L. Seymour for an excess amount of State general auctioneer’s
license taxes he erroneously paid into the State treasury for the license
years nineteen hundred and forty-five to nineteen hundred and forty-eight,
both inclusive, which State license taxes were measured by sales of real
estate made by the licensee, whereas the privilege of making such sales
of real estate was covered by the licensee’s revenue license as a real estate
agent which he duly held for all years involved.
