CHAPTER 381
An Act to allow payments by localities to certain volunteer rescue squads
for work done by such squads, and to provide from what funds such
payments may be made.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The governing body of any county, city or town may by ordi-
nance provide for payment, to any volunteer rescue squad that meets
the required minimum standards for such volunteer rescue squads set
forth in the ordinance, a sum not to exceed ten dollars for each rescue call
the volunteer rescue squad makes for an automobile accident in which
a person or persons has been injured on any of the highways or streets
in the county, city or town. Said payments may be made from any funds
available in the treasury of the county, city or town.
