CHAPTER 352

An Act to permit the owners and operators of parking lots and lessees
of space therein to provide for the removal of certain motor vehicles.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. It shall be lawful for the owner or operator of any parking lot
or the lessee of any space therein, hereinafter referred to as operator, to
have any motor vehicle occupying such lot or space without the permission
of such operator towed to a licensed garage for storage until called for
by the owner or his agent, provided notice of such action shall have first
been given by the operator to the local law enforcement authorities.
