Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
§ 1. No suit shall be maintained, or judgment rendered, either at law
or in equity, in any court of this Commonwealth, to recover any goods,
property or thing, or the value thereof, which has been sent to any person
by mail, unless such goods, property or thing has been impliedly or ex-
pressly ordered by the person to whom the same has been sent and re-
ceived or unless it be proved that such person has appropriated such goods,
property or thing to his own use.
