CHAPTER 277

An Act to permit certain counties to supplement salaries of certain
employees.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The Board of Supervisors of any county adjoining a county
with a population of more than two thousand persons per square mile
may, in its discretion, pay to persons employed by the State Board of
Health within the county, in addition to such salaries as may be paid by
the State Board of Health, such sum or sums as it may deem expedient.
