CHAPTER 259

An Act to authorize the governing body of the city of Charlottesville to
donate funds to the Miller Manual Labor School; and to validate
certain donations.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The governing body of the city of Charlottesville is authorized
to make gifts and donations of money to be appropriated from the treasury
of the city, to the Miller Manual Labor School. Such donations may be
made for construction purposes, for operating expenses or both.

Any such gift or donation made prior to the effective date of this act
is validated.
