CHAPTER 207

An Act to authorize the hunting of deer in certain counties and to pre-
scribe a bag limit.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Notwithstanding any provision of § 29-145.1 or any other pro-
vision of law to the contrary, it shall be lawful to hunt deer in the county
of Essex, at any lawful time and in any lawful manner but the bag limit
and sex of deer that may be killed shall be as herein provided.

§ 2. The bag limit shall be one per day and not more than two per
season, one of which may be a doe.
2. This act shall terminate January six, nineteen hundred fifty-four.
