CHAPTER 199

An Act to authorize the Department of Welfare and Institutions to grant
and convey all its right, title and interest in a certain parcel of land
with improvements thereon.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Department of Welfare and Institutions, with the approval
of the Governor in writing obtained, is authorized to grant and convey
all its right, title and interest in a certain parcel of land, containing one
hundred and forty acres, more or less, together with improvements thereon,
known as Convict Road Force Camp No. 10 and located in Court House
Magisterial District, Floyd County.

§ 2. The conveyance of this property shall be for a consideration to
be determined by the Department and the proceeds from such conveyance
shall be paid into the State treasury to the credit of the Department of
Highways.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
