CHAPTER 180

An Act to impose certain duties upon the Commission of Fisheries and
the Virginia Fisheries Laboratory.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The Commission of Fisheries and the Virginia Fisheries Laboratory
shall conduct experiments to determine the proper size mesh for nets in
fixed fishing devices. In making such determination the Commission and
Laboratory shall balance the interest of conservation and a suitable catch.
