An Act to amend and reenact § 54-212 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to the granting, suspension and revocation of certain Hoenses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
ty That § 54-212 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows: .

§ 54-212. The Board may decline to grant a license, or may suspend
or revoke a license already granted, after due notice and after hearing,
on the grounds of any violation of the provisions of this chapter or the
rules and regulations promulgated by the Board, not in conflict with the
provisions of this chapter; provided that all persons, firms, corporations
and associations engaged in the cleaning, dyeing and pressing business in
any city or county at the time such city or county becomes subject to this
chapter under the provisions of § 54-216 shall have issued to them a license
upon payment of the fees herein required.
