4N ACT to amend the Code of 1950 by adding a section num-
bered 29-188.1, providing that in counties where innocula-
tion for rabies 1s required, a certificate showing innocula-
tion shall be required before dog license may be obtained.

Be it enacted hy the General Assembly of Virginia: ,
. That the Code of 1950 be amended hy adding a section
umbered 29-188.1 as follows:

§ 29-188.1. In any county the governing hody of which
as adopted an ordinance requiring dogs to he innoculated or
accinated for rabies, no license tag shall be issued for any dog
mless there is presented, to the treasurer at the time applica-
ion for license is made, evidence satisfactory to him showing
that such dog has been, within the time and as prescribed by such
county ordinance, innoculated or vaccinated against rabies.
