AN ACT to authorize the Virginia Commission for the Blind to
convey certain property to Virginia Polytechnic Institute. ,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Subject to obtaining the approval of the Governor in writing.
the Virginia Commission for the Blind is authorized to convey,
upon terms and conditions as it deems proper, to Virginia Pols-
technic Institute the following described property:
All that parcel of land, with improvements thereon and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging, situate in Albemarle County, Vir
ginia, on the southern side of U. S. Route 29, and described as
follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe approximately 253.3 feet south of
Route U. S. 29 on the road leading to the Virginia Forest Nursery
Plant; thence south 29 degrees-30 minutes east along said highway
150 feet to an iron pipe in the center of said road and which point
is 39 feet in a southwesterly direction from the southwest corner
of an existing equipment storage building; thence south 69 degrees:
30 minutes west 225 feet to an iron pipe; thence north 29 degrees-
30 minutes west 150 feet to an iron pipe; thence north 69 degrees-
30 minutes east 225 feet to the beginning. This parcel of land is
more specifically shown on a plot plan dated July 10, 1948.
