CHAPTER 498

AN ACT to authorize the county of Grayson to appropriate funds
to the town of Independence for aid in the construction of cer-
tain utilities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The governing body of the county of Grayson is author-
ized in such amount as it may deem proper to appropriate funds
from the county treasury to the town of Independence in such
county to be expended by the town in the construction of sewer
and water supply systems.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
