AN ACT to amend and reenact § 18-160 of the Code of 1950,
relating to burglary and punishment therefor. 116261

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 18-160 of the Code of 1950 be amended and reen-
acted as follows:
§ 18-160. Entering dwelling house, etc., with intent to
commit murder, rape or robbery.—If any person in the night
enter without breaking or in the daytime break and enter a
dwelling house or an outhouse adjoining thereto and occupied
therewith or in the nighttime enter without breaking or break
and enter either in the daytime or nighttime any office, shop,
storehouse, warehouse, banking house, or other house, or any
ship, vessel or river craft or any railroad car, or any automobile,
truck, or trailer, if such automobile, truck or trailer is used as a
dwelling or place of human habitation, with intent to commit
murder, rape or robbery, he shall be confined in the penitentiary
not less than * one nor more than * eighteen years.
