AN ACT to amend and reenact §§ 54-482 and 54-488 of the Code
of 1950, relating to registration of pharmacies and phar-
macists and fees therefor.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §§ 54-482 and 54-433 of the Code of 1950 be amended
and reenacted as follows:
§ 54-4382. Registration of pharmacies; issuance of per-
mits.—The Board shall require and provide for the annual reg-
istration of every pharmacy doing business in this State. The
proprietor of every such pharmacy shall apply to the Board for
registration and it shall be unlawful for the pharmacy to do
business until so registered. The fee for such registration,
whether original or annual, shall be * ten dollars, and upon pay-
ment thereof the Board shall issue a permit to the applicant
entitled to receive the same.
§ 54-433. Annual registration of pharmacists and assist-
ant pharmacists.—The Board shall also require and provide for
the annual registration of every registered pharmacist and
registered assistant pharmacist engaged in business in the
State, and charge and receive the sum of * five dollars for each
such registration.
