CHAPTER 204
AN ACT to authorize the city of Radford to lease certain prop-
erty and enter into contractual relations in regard thereto;
to prescribe the uses to which such property so leased may
be put; and to provide for the disposition of such property
after the termination of the lease.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Thecity of Radford is authorized to enter into a lease
with the Radford Chamber of Commerce, Incorporated, whereby
a certain parcel of land, not exceeding one acre, located in the
west ward of Radford and being a portion of the property
known as “The Radford Adams Land’’ will be leased by the city
to such Chamber of Commerce for a period of not exceeding
twenty years.
2. Such property so leased may be used by the lessee
solely for civic, nonprofit purposes.
§ 3. At the termination of such lease, all right and inter-
est of the lessee shall expire and the property shall revert to the
essor.
§ 4. Such lease shall be upon such terms and conditions
as the city and such Chamber of Commerce, respectively, agree
upon.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its
passage.
