Chap. 323.—An ACT for the relief of Sarah F. Gayle, of the city of
Portsmouth,
Approved March 31, 18738.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
whatever right, title or interest the commonwealth of Virginia
has, or may hereafter have, in and to a certain lot of land and
its appurtenances, situate on the east side of Catharine street,
in the city of Norfolk, of which Ann Taylor, of said city, died
seized and possessed, and adjoining her residence on the south,
be and the same is hereby granted and released to Sarah F.
Gayle, wifeJof Leaven Gayle, of the city of Portsmouth, to her
sole and separate use.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. (
