Chap. 321.—An ACT to Change and Define the Corporate Limits of the
Town of Stanardsville, in the County of Greene, and for other Pur-
poses.
Approved March 31, 1873.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the corpo-
rate limits of the town of Stanardsville, in the county of
Greene, shall be bounded as follows:
Beginning at the gate of John R. Munday, on the turnpike,
west of James W. Payne's lot; thence south to the southwest
corner of Powhatan Woodson’s garden, including the grave-
yard ; thence east to the mouth of the lane leading from the
turnpike to the house of Dr. Thomas M. Sherman; thence
north to the ice-house of Dr. H. A. Sims; thence westward to
William P. Ship’s barn; thence to a large cherry tree on the
road leading from the turnpike to John R. Munday’s house,
and thence with said road to the beginning; said boundary as
herein marked out by bounds to be hereafter surveyed.
2. Any official act done by the officers of said town of Stan-
ardsville with reference to the metes and bounds mentioned in
the first section of this act is hereby legalized and made as
valid as if done after the passage of this act.
3. Allacts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.
