Chap. 315.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact the Sth Section of Chapter
301 of an Act approved March 26th, 1872, entitled an Act to Incorpo-
rate the Shawsville, Jacksonville, Taylorsville and North Carolina Rail-
road Company.

Approved March 31, 1873.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the fifth section of chapter three hundred and one of an act
approved March the twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and
seventy-two, entitled an act to incorporate the Shawsville,
Jacksonville, Taylorsville and North Carolina Railroad Com-
pany, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 5. The work on said road shall be commenced within two
years, and completed to Jacksonville within five years, from the \
first of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-three. t
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. c
