Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The State Board of Education, with the approval of the
Governor in writing, is authorized to grant and convey to the
city of Harrisonburg and the Rockingham Memorial Hospital upon
such terms and conditions as the Board deems proper easements
for rights-of-way, not exceeding thirty-five feet in width, across the
property of Madison College so as to provide access from Main
Street to Mason Street, and from Mason Street to the rear of the
buildings of the Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
An emergency exists and this act is in force from its.
