Chap. 38.—An ACT to authorize the State Hospital Board to sell and conv thon
behalf of the Commonwealth certain timber on the Dunbar Meadowfield
tracts in James City County, and to appropriate the moneys derived from ane
such sale. {S 12]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Section 1. The State Hospital Board is hereby authorized
to sell, and convey to such person or persons and on such terms
and conditions as in its discretion may seem desirable all right,
title and interest of the Eastern State hospital and the Common-
wealth of Virginia in and to all or any part of the timber standing
on the tract of land known as the Dunbar Meadowfield Farm
tracts, in James City County.
Section 2. All moneys received from the sale of such timber
shall be paid into the State treasury to the credit of the said State
Hospital Board, and are hereby appropriated to such Board, which
is hereby authorized to use the same in the purchase of other land
or lands contiguous or adjacent to the present Dunbar Farm unit
of the Eastern State hospital in James City County, and in the
construction on the said Dunbar Farm tract and adjacent lands
of such buildings, structures and plant as may be necessary
for the use of the said hospital and for the necessary equipment
thereof. All money hereby appropriated shall be expended upon
warrants of the Comptroller issued upon vouchers signed by the
chairman of the said Board, or such other person or persons as
may be designated by the Board for the purpose.
