Chap. 369.—-An ACT to require the governing bodies of certain counties to
furnish telephone service to certain county officers. (H 542)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The governing body of any county having a population of more
than twenty-one thousand two hundred fifty but less than twenty-one
thousand eight hundred shall, at the expense of the county, provide the
officers of the county sheriff, clerk of court and treasurer with telephone
service.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
