Chap. 325.—An ACT to amend and reenact Chapter 20 of the Acts of Assembly
Extra Session 1942, approved October 5, 1942, by adding a new section num-
bered Section 6, to provide for the transfer of all moneys and securities left
after payment of all “Highway certificates of indebtedness”, interest and ex-
penses in carrying into effect said act, by the Board of Sinking Fund Com-
missioners of Virginia from the Highway Sinking Fund to the Treasurer of
Virginia to the credit of the General Highway Fund and to authorize the
State Treasurer to sell said securities. {H 461]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter Twenty of the Acts of Assembly Extra Session
Nineteen Hundred and Forty-two, be amended and reenacted by adding
a new section numbered Section six as follows:
Section 6. The Board of Sinking Fund Commissioners of Virginia
is hereby authorized and empowered to transfer from the “Highway
Sinking Fund” to the Treasurer of Virginia all moneys and securities
left after the payment of all “Highway certificates of indebtedness”,
interest and expenses incurred in carrying into effect said act which shall
be credited to the General Highway Fund. Upon the transfer of such
moneys and securities by the Board of Sinking Fund Commissioners as
herein provided, the State Treasurer is hereby authorized to sell said
securities on the market at such time and for such price as he may deem
expedient.
