Chap. 234.—An ACT to authorize the destruction of the papers and files of
certain kinds of cases in certain of the juvenile and domestic relations courts,
after the lapse of a certain time from the final disposition of any as KG

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Section 1. The judge of the juvenile and domestic relations
court of any city in this State having a population of one hundred
ninety thousand or more is authorized in his discretion to destroy
or otherwise dispose of any misdemeanor warrant together with
other papers pertaining thereto when any such case has been
tried and finally disposed of for a period of at least ten years.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
