Chap. 121.—An ACT to authorize the county of Grayson to appropriate funds
to the town of Independence for the purchase of fire fighting cauipment 97)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the governing body of the county of Grayson is author-
ized to appropriate funds from the county treasury to the town of
Independence in such county, in such amounts as it may deem
best, to be used by the town of Independence in the purchase of
fire fighting equipment for use in such town and in the county of
Grayson.

2. An emergency exists and this act shall be in force from its

passage.
