Chap. 97.—An ACT to authorize the sale and conveyance of certain county prop-

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia :

1. The governing body of Franklin county is authorized, in
consideration of the sum of two hundred fifty dollars, to sell and convey
such part of the county poor farm or alms house as is not needed for alms
house purposes but not to exceed forty-five acres of land; such land lying
and being in Blackwater Magisterial District in such county. The gov-
erning body is further authorized to execute the instruments necessary
to effectuate such sale and conveyance.
