Chap. 70.—An ACT to authorize and empower the Governor to execute in the
name of the Commonwealth of Virginia a deed conveying, subject to the juris-
dictiorfal and other limitations and resefvations contained in Section 19-a and
Section 19-b of the Code of Virginia, to the United States of America, certain
waste and unappropriated lands. [H B 33]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia :
1. That the Governor of Virginia be, and he is hereby, authorized
and empowered to execute in the name of the Commonwealth of Virginia,
deeds conveying, subject to the jurisdictional and other limitations and
reservations contained in section nineteen-a and section nineteen-b of
the Code of Virginia, as amended by chapter three hundred eighty-two
of the Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred thirty-six, to the United
States of America, such title as the Commonwealth of Virginia may have
in waste and unappropriated lands entirely surrounded by lands owned
by the United States when same are certified as being vacant and un-
appropriated by a duly authorized agent of the United States and are
described by metes and bounds descriptions filed with the Secretary of
the Commonwealth at Richmond, Virginia, and with the clerk of the
court in the county wherein such unappropriated land is situated.
