Chap. 316.—An ACT for the relief of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Doss. [S B 86}

Whereas, certain agents, employees and servants of the State High-
way Commission were engaged in the construction of a certain road in
Alleghany County, Virginia, known as Project one hundred eighty-
nine-E two, R one; and
Whereas, it was necessary to do certain blasting in the winter of
nineteen hundred forty-two nineteen hundred forty-three which resulted
in damage to house owned by Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Doss; now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That there be paid to Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Doss, out of funds
appropriated to the Department of Highways, the sum of six hundred
dollars, such payment to be made by the State Treasurer upon a warrant
issued by the Comptroller.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
