Chap. 255.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Section 4 of Chapter 19 of the Acts
of Assembly of 1945, approved March 29, 1945, the chapter relating to certain
educational practices and procedure in Hanover County, so as to neappraprate
certain unused funds and to appropriate other funds. [H B 222]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That section four of chapter nineteen of the Acts of Assembly
of nineteen hundred forty-five, approved March twenty-nine, nineteen
hundred forty-five, be amended and re-enacted, as follows:
Section 4. In order to provide funds to carry out the provisions
of this act there is hereby re-appropriated to the State Board of Educa-
tion, out of the general fund in the State treasury, the appropriation
of five thousand dollars provided for in this section prior to amendment,
or so much thereof as is unexpended and is necessary, the funds hereby
re-appropriated to be available for use as and if needed during the school
year nineteen hundred forty-six-nineteen hundred forty-seven.
2. In order to provide funds to carry out the provisions of this
act for the school year nineteen hundred forty-seven-nineteen hundred
forty-eight, there is hereby appropriated to the State Board of Educa-
tion out of the general fund in the State treasury not otherwise appro-
priated the sum of five thousand dollars, to be by it expended for the
burposes of this act.
