the State Highway System as the “Ocean Highway”. [H B 293]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That part of the State Highway System, known as State High-
way number thirteen, beginning at the Maryland line on the Eastern
Shore of Virginia, and running in a southerly direction down the East-
ern Shore and connecting by ferry from Cape Charles to Little Creek,
with the mainland, and going around the City of Norfolk, connecting with
and thence along State Highway number seventeen shall hereafter be
known as the “Ocean Highway’; the State Department of Highways
shall place such markers along this route as will acquaint the public with
the name thereof.
