which own and operate certain kinds of parks, to designate one of its members
to manage or supervise the management of same, and to provide for compen-

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia :
1. The board of supervisors of any county which owns and operates
within its borders, any park within the limits of which is a pond or lake
upon which pleasure boats are operated, and other recreational facilities
are provided, may designate one of its members to manage, or supervise
the management of, such park and recreational facilities, and to allow
him such compensation for his services in that regard as the board may
deem proper, the same to be paid out of the general fund in the county
treasury, and to be in addition to his compensation for his general serv-
ices as a member of the board; provided that such additional compensa-
tion shall not exceed one hundred and fifty dollars for any year.
